Pork with Mustard Soup (榨菜肉絲湯)

This delicious soup is so simple and easy to make.  I made this soup to go with the Chinese Chives Box.


Pork with Pickled Mustard Soup

Ingredients:

1 Green onion, chopped
1 pkg. sliced pickled mustard
4 oz. pork, sliced
1/2 tsp salt*
Bok choy, chopped
Sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Bring a small pot of water to boil.
  2. Add all  ingredients except sesame oil and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add some sesame oil when ready to serve.
Note:

Do not add  too much salt as the pickled mustard is already very salty.  But the salt is needed to bring out the flavor of the mustard soup.
