Color of the Year 2010 - Turquoise

This is the latest press release from Pantone. Pantone, the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries for 45 years, today announced PANTONE® 15-5519 Turquoise as the color of the year for 2010.

What that means is we will be seeing a lot of turquoise clothes and accessories in the coming months.  It's a good color for most people. If this is the color you think doesn't flatter you, but still want to catch up with the fahion trend, you can wear a scarf or jacket over the turquoise blouse.  Any accessories like purse, shoes bangles are also nice to add to the outfit.  The idea is to have the color that doesn't flatter you away from your face.  If you enjoy shopping for clothes, this is the color to remember to stock up on to welcome the year of 2010.  But remember the fashion trend doesn't reflect in west coast as fast as east coast like New York.  We will not be seeing these colors until several months later.
